  • Description: Provides a 24/7 emergency and advice line. Accepts reports of suspected abuse of older adults and dependent adults. Helps older adults, people living with disabilities, dependent adults, and their caregivers. Ensures access to the services they need to keep them safe. Provides assessment and emergency protection such as shelter, food, and in-home care. Addresses immediate concerns until a long-term care plan can be develop. Older adult and dependent adult abuse can be:

    • Emotional
    • Sexual
    • Neglect
    • Self-neglect
    • Isolation
    • Abandonment
